- "I hate those comic books. They never get the eyes right"
- ―Hellboy, on his appearance in Dark Horse Comics.
Dark Horse Comics is a comic book company that tends to borrow things. Borrow things and never give them back, in most cases.
Dark Horse will approach you if they like your movie, and say "Hey, how would you like it if we set up a comic book series on <insert movie here>" You'll say yes, and they'll milk it dry.
They have some good work, like Hellboy, for example. They feature a lot of creator owned comics, which everybody pretends to care about. Me, I just care about seeing Spider-Man and Doc Ock kicking each other in the nuts. But most of they're work is borrowed of movies or taken off dropped series of other comic book companies.
They are a mediocre ripoff company. End message.
