The Secret Society of Super-Villains is more supervillains than you've ever seen before in one room, hanging out together. More supervillains than a barrel of monkeys. So many supervillains, you could eat a horse.

They're surprisingly not that secretive, though. Pretty much everybody knows about it.

History[]

They were founded by Darkseid to be his agents on Earth when Intergang weren't doing their jobs. But they turned on him because... they're freaking supervillains! Way to hire the most antisocial people on earth, Dumbseid.

The first team had some really cool cats, like Captains Cold and Comet, Copperhead, Gorilla Grodd, Manhunter, Mirror Master, Sinestro, Star Sapphire, Lex Luthor, the Wizard, Trickster, Floronic Man, Blockbuster, Captain Stingaree, the Cavalier and... the main man, Funky Flashman. They were a real old timey bunch, and mostly wore top hats and moustaches to distinguish themselves from the rest of the crowd. Eventually though, they gave up because villains can never agree on anything.

Later, during Infinite Crisis, a much cooler version showed up, even if they lacked the timeless qualities of the guys who bickered all the time and never accomplished anything. These guys revolved around a core group of Deathstroke, Black Adam, Talia al Ghul, Doctor Psycho, the Calculator and fake Lex Luthor. They ended too, mostly because they didn't let the Joker play.
