Guy Gardner is the number one Green Lantern. Despite years of evidence to the contrary, he is convinced that he could beat anybody in a fight. Instead, he masks his incompetence with the greatest tough guy facade the world has ever seen. Deep down, he became a Lantern because his parents never hugged him and the physical intimacy he shares with supervillains is the closest he can get to finding true love.
